Undergraduate students can apply and join the ROTC programs in military schools that are located in New Jersey. Several civilians, naval officers, or even international students flock to New Jersey to attend military school.
The United States Military Academy Preparatory School (USMAPS), located in Fort Monmouth, accepts candidates who are recommended by West Point.
It is also know as the official preparatory school for those who wish to be selected to attend West Point. The goal of the school is too provide suitable for students who wish to earn the rank of commissioned second lieutenants serving in the US Army while serving at the United States Military Academy (USMA). Candidates who successfully complete the USMAPS program will receive a recommendation from the commandant.
