Secondary Military Schools

Riverside Preparatory Academy is located in Gainesville, which is north of Atlanta. You can easily fly into or out of Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, since it is only an hour’s drive one way. The school is for boys only and covers grades seven through twelve. It has no religious affiliation. It offers a JROTC program that is affiliated with the U.S. Army.

Benedictine Military School is in Savannah. It is also an all-boys school and caters to grades nine through twelve. The Savannah Benedictine has the honor of being the only secondary day school that caters to the coastal Georgia and South Carolina area. It has the distinction of being the only private and military school in the area that also offers college preparatory courses. The religious affiliation is Catholic. It also offers a JROTC program that is affiliated with the U.S. Army.

Postsecondary Military Schools

Georgia Military College is located in Milledgeville. However, it has offers seven other campus locations all over the state to make access to its programs much easier. The college also has two extension centers, which offers up two more locations to access the programs. Georgia Military College is about 42 miles away way from the Middle Georgia Region airport, which is in Macon. It is affiliated with the U.S. Army

University of North Georgia/The Military College of Georgia is located in Dahlonega. It has four other campuses, which increases access to its programs. The campus is located about 65 miles from the Athens-Ben Epps Airport and about 75 miles from the Hartsfield-Jackson Airport. It does not appear to have any religious affiliation. It is also affiliated with the U.S. Army.
